Drew T db63fcc673 tools(phase-35): T6 part 2 — the dead macro branches dropped from 12 live tools; the macro-form guard in tool_census --check (ast scan of every LIVE tool, FROZEN/retired/6 whitelisted detectors excluded; 0 LIVE tools reference the retired form; --guard-root negative control: the pre-T4 tree flags exactly the 12 fixed + 3 retired); progress.py: an empty-bodied included member is EMPTY, not folded into REAL (the R32 bucket assertion caught the double count) — the fleet denominator 363,221 -> 363,680 (+459: SC03_015's 219 single-site macros, SC03_118 +3, the never-extended members of five groups) and REAL 360,744 -> 350,533 with EMPTY up the same; progress.json + README block + fleet table regenerated; SETUP; kit corpus 2026-09-08 20:53:05 -06:00
Drew T 5a9f455e60 tools(phase-35): T6 part 1 — 14 macro-era tools FROZEN (tools/frozen.py: one refusal from main(), imports never exit; the plan's 7 + 7 the guard census found, family_remap's CLI among them), 4 retired to tools/sunset/ (dedup_propagate + dedup_extend -> share_body.py with add_members_surgical and the load_sig library moved verbatim; macro_draft; test_reconcile_ledger), six lane callers repointed to share_body --apply --bucket new, validate_targets imports share_body, tool_census accepts FROZEN; dictionary + sunset README rows; kit corpus 2026-09-08 20:34:41 -06:00
Drew T 6cb056c932 tools(phase-35): T2 — the health chain learns the include-at-site and twin forms while the macro form still builds: one source-dir oracle (corpus.src_dirs/src_dir/twin_of from the Makefile), share_census.header_defs as the one reader of the include form, progress.classify counts include sites (fold keeps 255,632), overlay_src_split's include item kind + loud macro-table refusal, dedup_integrate C2a' (a header must DEFINE func), audit_binaries prelude + twin citizenship (CHECK 3b), cdecl differential not-applicable when the macro header is gone, recursive shared-header globs; the count correction 363,214 -> 363,221 (7 whale include sites never registered; ov_MAIN_012 2,401 -> 2,402) regenerated into progress.json + README 2026-09-08 16:46:55 -06:00
Drew T 62854caca0 fix(phase-33): A4 family map carries its own coverage — family_hseq.json records the 217 scanned binaries + open_instances (0), audit_binaries CHECK 4 reads that denominator instead of inferring it from (now empty) families; regenerating the map had turned the P32-close 6-binary warn into 217 'missing' from a COMPLETE map (R35); controls: 0 [warn] now, the old format warns 'predates the coverage field'; docs/family-hseq.md regenerated (0 families); SETUP P33 A4 (R21) 2026-09-06 18:55:21 -06:00
Drew T 1826033fb0 fix(phase-30 S44 I.1c): the R36 citizenship gate is no longer blind to non-ov_ binary classes
- onboarded() derived from EVERY config/splat.<alias>.yaml (R33; templates + us.exe normalized) —
  was splat.ov_*.yaml + a hand-set {main,resident}: the gate that exists to catch unwired binaries
  was itself structurally blind to any class it did not know about.
- CHECK 4 widened: resident + modules must appear in the family map too (only main is exempt —
  structurally barren, checked twice in S39). New honest warn: resident missing from the current
  map (family_hseq widening lands next commit).
- NEGATIVE CONTROL: a planted config/splat.md_TEST.yaml FAILS check 1 ('MISSING md_TEST — invisible
  to every derived tool'); removing it restores OK over the 140.

Drew T 758c4365b6 feat(phase-28 T7): make audit-binaries — the R36 citizenship gate (R32 enforcement)
R36: a newly-discovered binary is not real until every consumer knows it. Onboarding produces a
byte-CLEAN binary (check-all green) that is not yet a CITIZEN — the tools that enumerate binaries
can each be silently unaware of it, and the byte-gate is structurally blind to that (R34).

Not hypothetical: P27 onboarded 4 SC07 overlays byte-clean; P28 found FOUR consumers silently
ignoring them (family_remap.img_path, .run/family_hseq.json, config/dedup.us.yaml, and the overlays'
own .c), hiding ~6,400 already-matched bodies. Every failure was silent.

- tools/audit_binaries.py asserts, coverage-checked BOTH directions (R32), against the config the
  BUILD reads (R33 — onboarded = main + resident + every config/splat.ov_*.yaml):
    1. dup_report.BINARIES (what corpus/family_hseq/progress all derive from) EXACTLY equals the
       onboarded set — a missing binary is invisible to every derived tool; a phantom is invented.
    2. every onboarded binary has a byte-derived sig.
    3. THE LOAD-BEARING SC07 CHECK: every onboarded OVERLAY's .c includes ../shared/engine_core.h,
       or no shared body can ever reach it (main/resident have their own bodies, exempt).
    4. every onboarded overlay is represented in the family map (warn — regenerable/may post-date).
  INFO: dedup-group membership (0 = onboarded-but-un-harvested, a dedup_extend candidate).
- NEGATIVE CONTROL: stripping the shared include from ov_SC07_006.c makes the gate FAIL loudly and
  exit 1 — it catches the exact bug that hid 6,400 bodies for a month. Restored clean.
- Wired into `make tools-health` (the pre-matching ritual) — cheap (config + text scans, no build),
  so it sits in the fast lane. Passes today: 140 onboarded, all full citizens.
- Reads config/dedup.us.yaml as TEXT (never a YAML round-trip — the H5 lesson from T4).
