Matt Dallmeyer 04f1f93bec [jak2/3] Fix same-attack-invulnerable-timeout clock drift original game bug (#3978)
So `target` has some logic here which checks if the pending attack has
the same ID as the last attack, and if so it checks for a 2s grace
period `(-> *TARGET-bank* same-attack-invulnerable-timeout)` before the
attack will actually count:

https://github.com/open-goal/jak-project/blob/7320bfc068acfa385f929b176f61caf3b7aabbbe/goal_src/jak3/engine/target/target-util.gc#L1664-L1674

This `same-attack-invulnerable-timeout` check uses `time-elapsed?`,
which under the hood references `(current-time)` AKA `(-> PP clock
frame-counter)`, which makes sense.

However the code that actually stores the `attack-time` uses a different
clock `(-> *display* base-clock frame-counter)`:

https://github.com/open-goal/jak-project/blob/7320bfc068acfa385f929b176f61caf3b7aabbbe/goal_src/jak3/engine/target/target-util.gc#L1765-L1768

So if these two clocks get out of sync - say the `target` process clock
falls behind the `*display*` clock - then we can end up storing an
`attack-time` that's "in the future" from `target`'s perspective,
effectively increasing the `same-attack-invulnerable-timeout`.

This clock drift can happen in real gameplay - Usual today was having it
happen consistently with the route he was attempting for NoOOB. I was
able to reproduce it consistently in OpenGOAL as well:
- get "invuln 2" (i.e. you have `(target-flags disable-attacks)` but not
`(focus-status dead ignore)`)
- restart mission at the top of temple before the glider mission trigger
- immediately go into the trigger and fall off the cliff (during the
black screen)
- you'll get the glider cutscene, but should respawn back at the bottom
of temple

Somewhere in this^ cutscene/blackout, the two clocks drift apart -
presumably `target`'s clock is paused but the other is not. Later in the
speedrun, this causes the extra long invuln timeout bug, which wastes
time while trying to intentionally lower health.

As far as I can tell, any other code interacting with `attack-time` also
uses `(current-time)` or one of the wrapping macros like `set-time!` or
`time-elapsed?`

Tyler Wilding 6f093f98ff gsrc: Add convenience macros for masking VF operations (#3824)
Migrates all code, there should be no change in the compilation output
(linter should check this)

At first i was considering making these builtins, which short of a bunch
of code generation, would require some sort of dynamic definition in
`Atoms.cpp`. This isn't hard but, i figured it would be better to keep
it simple and just generate the OG macros.

ManDude cd68cb671e deftype and defmethod syntax major changes (#3094)
Major change to how `deftype` shows up in our code:
- the decompiler will no longer emit the `offset-assert`,
`method-count-assert`, `size-assert` and `flag-assert` parameters. There
are extremely few cases where having this in the decompiled code is
helpful, as the types there come from `all-types` which already has
those parameters. This also doesn't break type consistency because:
  - the asserts aren't compared.
- the first step of the test uses `all-types`, which has the asserts,
which will throw an error if they're bad.
- the decompiler won't emit the `heap-base` parameter unless necessary
now.
- the decompiler will try its hardest to turn a fixed-offset field into
an `overlay-at` field. It falls back to the old offset if all else
fails.
- `overlay-at` now supports field "dereferencing" to specify the offset
that's within a field that's a structure, e.g.:
```lisp
(deftype foobar (structure)
  ((vec    vector  :inline)
   (flags  int32   :overlay-at (-> vec w))
   )
  )
```
in this structure, the offset of `flags` will be 12 because that is the
final offset of `vec`'s `w` field within this structure.
- **removed ID from all method declarations.** IDs are only ever
automatically assigned now. Fixes #3068.
- added an `:overlay` parameter to method declarations, in order to
declare a new method that goes on top of a previously-defined method.
Syntax is `:overlay <method-name>`. Please do not ever use this.
- added `state-methods` list parameter. This lets you quickly specify a
list of states to be put in the method table. Same syntax as the
`states` list parameter. The decompiler will try to put as many states
in this as it can without messing with the method ID order.

Also changes `defmethod` to make the first type definition (before the
arguments) optional. The type can now be inferred from the first
argument. Fixes #3093.

Hat Kid fc43870d85 decompiler: obj -> this, set-time! and time-elapsed? macros (#3026)
This renames the method object in `defmethod`s to `this` and adds
detection for the `set-time!` and `time-elapsed?` macros.

Definitely my biggest PR yet...

Hat Kid 49e798f88c jak2: macro detection for launch-particles and seconds-per-frame, add og:preserve-this comments for manual patches (#2974)
This PR adds detection of the `launch-particles` and `seconds-per-frame`
macros to the decompiler, removing a lot of bloat and hiding many
process register uses.

I also added `og:preserve-this` comments to as many manual patches and
comments as I could, which will soon be used in conjunction with CI to
hopefully catch any regressions in future big decomp update PRs.

I have some concerns about the `launch-particles` macro (more details in
`sparticle-launcher.gc`) , but thus far, I have not seen anything break
yet.

ManDude b50b9eadb2 [decompiler] new features + fixes, + other jak2 fixes (#2796)
Fixes empty boxed arrays of strings breaking some decomp
(`ctywide-speech` and `race-info`).

Adds `decomp-as` tag to decompiler types so that the static data
decompiler can use macros like `meters` and `seconds` on fields that
aren't of type `meters` or `time-frame`.

Adds `override` tag to decompiler types which overrides the type of
field with that name. The type must be a child type of the original
field's type (or the same type, but why would you do this?).

Fixes the camera being offset for `drillmtn` after loading `palout`
once.

This is a huge refactor sadly.

Almost done:
- `target-handler` (`(none)` event handler casts and CFG error)
- `target2` (`(none)` event handler casts)
- `powerups` (`cloud-track` does some weird stuff with `handle`s)
- `gun-states` (CFG error)

Some progress in:
- `water-flow`

Additionally:

- Clean up the two year old Jak 3 config file and add a config skeleton
(disassembling seems to not have worked, but I was able to dump obj
files and the `all_scripts` file)
- Fix automatic skelgroup detection and `defskelgroup` macro for Jak 2

generated with the op id for each unresolved load and store that will
