Immutable branch between MFD, IIO and PWM due for the v4.11 merge window
Pulled into IIO to allow follow up series of triggered capture for the
STM32 ADCs.
Add sysfs-bus-iio-distance-srf08 for individual attributes of the driver,
especially:
- sensitivity which the device documentation calls gain for amplifying the
signal
- max_range for limiting the maximum distance for expected echos and
therefore limiting the time waiting for telegrams

Timers IPs can be used to generate triggers for other IPs like
DAC or ADC.
Each trigger may result of timer internals signals like counter enable,
reset or edge, this configuration could be done through "master_mode"
device attribute.
Since triggers could be used by DAC or ADC their names are defined
in include/ nux/iio/timer/stm32-timer-trigger.h and is_stm32_iio_timer_trigger
function could be used to check if the trigger is valid or not.
"trgo" trigger have a "sampling_frequency" attribute which allow to configure
timer sampling frequency.

This patch adds support for TI TMP007 - 16 bit IR thermopile sensor with integrated Math engine.
Sensor takes care of calculating the object temperature with the help of calibrated constants stored in non-volatile memory,
thereby reducing the calculation overhead.

The earlier deployed LIS3LV02DL driver had already defined a few
DT bindings that need to be supported by the new more generic
driver and listed as compatible but deprecated bindings in the
documentation.
After this we can start to activate the new driver with the old
systems where applicable.
As part of this enablement: make us depend on the old drivers
not being in use so we don't get a kernel with two competing
drivers.

Pull "omap fixes for v4.10-rc cycle" from Tony Lindgren:
Fist set of fixes for omaps for v4.10-rc cycle, mostly
to deal with various regressions noticed during the merge
window and to fix various device tree configurations for
boards. Also included is removal of mach-omap2/gpio.c that
is now dead code with device tree based booting that should
be OK for the early -rc cycle:
- A series of fixes to add empty chosen node to fix regressions
caused for bootloaders that don't create chosen node as the
decompressor needs the chosen node to merge command line and
ATAGs into it
- Fix missing logicpd-som-lv-37xx-devkit.dtb entry in Makefile
- Fix regression for am437x timers
- Fix wrong strcat for non-NULL terminated string
- A series of changes to fix tps65217 interrupts to not use
defines as we don't do that for interrupts
- Two patches to fix USB VBUS detection on am57xx-idk and force it
to peripheral mode until dwc3 role detection is working
- Add missing dra72-evm-tps65917 missing voltage supplies
accidentally left out of an earlier patch
- Fix n900 eMMC detection when booted on qemu
- Remove unwanted pr_err on failed memory allocation for
prm_common.c
- Remove legacy mach-omap2/gpio.c that now is dead code
since we boot mach-omap2 in device tree only mode
- Fix am572x-idk pcie1 by adding the missing gpio reset pin

The references to drivers/base/power/main.c and
drivers/acpi/scan.c from Documentation/driver-api/infrastructure.rst
are confusing. They both cause descriptions of functions that are
not relevant to device drivers at all to be generated and none of
them is sufficient to cover the API in a meaningful way.
Drop them for now.
