Working on Gigabit/PCIe support in U-Boot for Apalis T30 I realised
that the current device tree source includes for our modules only
happen to work due to referencing the on-carrier 5v0 supply from USB
which is not at all available on-module. The modules actually contain
TPS60150 charge pumps to generate the PMIC required 5 volts from the
one and only 3.3 volt module supply. This patch fixes this.
(Note: When back-porting this to v3.16 stable releases, simply drop the
change to tegra30-apalis.dtsi; that file was added in v3.17)

During the restructuring of the Rockchip Cortex-A9 dtsi files it seems
like the pinctrl settings vanished at some point from the mmc0 support.
This of course renders them unusable, so readd the necessary pinctrl
properties.

Currently the sh-intc driver is compiled on all SuperH and
non-multiplatform SH-Mobile platforms, while it's only used on a limited
number of platforms:
- SuperH: SH2(A), SH3(A), SH4(A)(L) (all but SH5)
- ARM: sh7372, sh73a0
Drop the "default y" on SH_INTC, make all CPU platforms that use it
select it, and protect all sub-options by "if SH_INTC" to fix this.

Increase max i2c bus frequency beyond the default for faster
data transfers. According to the manual, these faster speeds are
only available when the board is wired up the right way. In this case,
the vendor kernel has run at this speed for a long time.
sda-delay is needed for talking to RTC on PMIC, otherwise the i2c
controller never sees an ACK. Strangely the other PMIC i2c slave (the
main one) works fine even without this delay. I Chose value 100 to
match the vendor kernel.

to pin GPX3-2.
This is needed for the max77686-irq driver to create the PMIC IRQ
domain, which is needed by max77686-rtc.

The current pinfunc define all uart CTS_B IO port for DCE uart 'CTS_B'
IP port. Since uart IP port 'CTS_B' is output, and it don't need to
set 'SELECT_INPUT' bit.

On i.MX6Q, gpu2d_axi and gpu3d_axi are either from AXI or
AHB clock, but on i.MX6DL, gpu2d_axi and gpu3d_axi are
from mmdc_ch0_axi_podf, and they can NOT be gated by mmdc_ch0_axi
's clock gate, the mux option register field(CCM_CBCMR)
is marked as "Reserved" now on i.MX6DL RM, so correct these
two clks setting.

Previous version had an extra 'fsl' which made the pins not match
any entry. The console message,
vf610-pinctrl 40048000.iomuxc: no fsl,pins property in node \
/soc/aips-bus@40000000/iomuxc@40048000/vf610-twr/esdhc1grp
is displayed without the fix. The prior version would generally
work as u-boot sets the pins properly for sdhc. This change allows
Linux sdhc use even if u-boot is built without sdhc support.

After the suspend routine running in OCRAM puts DDR into self-refresh,
it will access IOMUXC block to float DDR IO for power saving. A TLB
missing of IOMUXC base address may happen in this case, and triggers an
access to DDR, and thus hangs the system.
The failure is discovered by running suspend/resume on a Cubox-i board.
Though the issue is not Cubox-i specific, it can be hit the on the board
quite easily with the 3.15 or 3.16 kernel.
Fix the issue with a dummy access to IOMUXC block at the beginning of
suspend routine, so that the address translation can be filled into TLB
before DDR is put into self-refresh.

My earlier patch 1fc593feaf ("ARM: imx: build i.MX6 functions
only when needed") fixed a problem with building an i.MX5 kernel,
but now the problem has returned for the case where we allow
ARMv6K SMP builds in multiplatform. With CONFIG_CPU_V7 disabled,
but i.MX3 and SMP enabled, we get this build error:

This puts the code inside of an "ifdef CONFIG_SOC_IMX6" to hopefully
do the right thing in all configurations.

Group changes to the device tree. In preparation for adding device
tree overlay support, OF_DYNAMIC is reworked so that a set of device
tree changes can be prepared and applied to the tree all at once.
OF_RECONFIG notifiers see the most significant change here so that
users always get a consistent view of the tree. Notifiers generation
is moved from before a change to after it, and notifiers for a group
of changes are emitted after the entire block of changes have been
applied
Automatic console selection from DT. Console drivers can now use
of_console_check() to see if the device node is specified as a console
device. If so then it gets added as a preferred console. UART
devices get this support automatically when uart_add_one_port() is
called.
DT unit tests no longer depend on pre-loaded data in the device tree.
Data is loaded dynamically at the start of unit tests, and then
unloaded again when the tests have completed.

This was caused by commit 5a8da52404 ("ARM: dts: exynos5420: add dsi
node"), which conflicted with d51cad7df8 ("ARM: dts: remove display
power domain for exynos5420").
The DTS addition should never have been merged through the DRM tree in
the first place, and it lacked an ack from the platform maintainer
(who would have known that the disp_pd reference got removed).

Due to recent consolidation of Exynos suspend and cpuidle code, some
parts of suspend and resume sequences are executed two times, once from
exynos_pm_syscore_ops and then from exynos_cpu_pm_notifier() and thus it
breaks suspend, at least on Exynos4-based boards. In addition, simple
core power down from a cpuidle driver could, in case of CPU 0 could
result in calling functions that are specific to suspend and deeper idle
states.
This patch fixes the issue by moving those operations outside the CPU PM
notifier into suspend and AFTR code paths. This leads to a bit of code
duplication, but allows additional code simplification, so in the end
more code is removed than added.

This patch fixes booting when idmap pgd lays above 4gb. Commit
4756dcbfd3 mostly had fixed this, but it'd failed to load upper bits.
Also this fixes adding TTBR1_OFFSET to TTRR1: if lower part overflows
carry flag must be added to the upper part.

"This is the bulk of GPIO changes for the v3.17 development cycle, and
this time we got a lot of action going on and it will continue:
- The core GPIO library implementation has been split up in three
different files:
- gpiolib.c for the latest and greatest and shiny GPIO library code
using GPIO descriptors only
- gpiolib-legacy.c for the old integer number space API that we are
phasing out gradually
- gpiolib-sysfs.c for the sysfs interface that we are not entirely
happy with, but has to live on for ABI compatibility
- Add a flags argument to *gpiod_get* functions, with some
backward-compatibility macros to ease transitions. We should have
had the flags there from the beginning it seems, now we need to
clean up the mess. There is a plan on how to move forward here
devised by Alexandre Courbot and Mark Brown
- Split off a special <linux/gpio/machine.h> header for the board
gpio table registration, as per example from the regulator
subsystem
- Start to kill off the return value from gpiochip_remove() by
removing the __must_check attribute and removing all checks inside
the drivers/gpio directory. The rationale is: well what were we
supposed to do if there is an error code? Not much: print an error
message. And gpiolib already does that. So make this function
return void eventually
- Some cleanups of hairy gpiolib code, make some functions not to be
used outside the library private and make sure they are not
exported, remove gpiod_lock/unlock_as_irq() as the existing
function is for driver-internal use and fine as it is, delete
gpio_ensure_requested() as it is not meaningful anymore
- Support the GPIOF_ACTIVE_LOW flag from gpio_request_one() function
calls, which is logical since this is already supported when
referencing GPIOs from e.g. device trees
- Switch STMPE, intel-mid, lynxpoint and ACPI (!) to use the gpiolib
irqchip helpers cutting down on GPIO irqchip boilerplate a bit more
- New driver for the Zynq GPIO block
- The usual incremental improvements around a bunch of drivers
- Janitorial syntactic and semantic cleanups by Jingoo Han, and

Load purgatory code in RAM and relocate it based on the location.
Relocation code has been inspired by module relocation code and purgatory
relocation code in kexec-tools.
Also compute the checksums of loaded kexec segments and store them in
purgatory.
Arch independent code provides this functionality so that arch dependent
bootloaders can make use of it.
Helper functions are provided to get/set symbol values in purgatory which
are used by bootloaders later to set things like stack and entry point of
second kernel etc.

Rather than have architectures #define ARCH_HAS_SG_CHAIN in an
architecture specific scatterlist.h, make it a proper Kconfig option and
use that instead. At same time, remove the header files are are now
mostly useless and just include asm-generic/scatterlist.h.

"A handful of driver-related changes. We've had a bunch of them going

- Performance counter support for the arm CCN interconnect
- OMAP mailbox driver cleanups and consolidation

Pull ARM SoC device-tree changes from Olof Johansson:
"Unlike the board branch, this keeps having large sets of changes for
every release, but that's quite expected and is so far working well.
Most of this is plumbing for various device bindings and new
platforms, but there's also a bit of cleanup and code removal for
things that are moved from platform code to DT contents (some OMAP
clock code in particular).
There's also a pinctrl driver for tegra here (appropriately acked),
that's introduced this way to make it more bisectable.
I'm happy to say that there were no conflicts at all with this branch
this release, which means that changes are flowing through our tree as
expected instead of merged through driver maintainers (or at least not
done with conflicts).
There are several new boards added, and a couple of SoCs. In no
particular order:
- Rockchip RK3288 SoC support, including DTS for a dev board that
they have seeded with some community developers.
- Better support for Hardkernel Exynos4-based ODROID boards.
- CCF conversions (and dtsi contents) for several Renesas platforms.
- Gumstix Pepper (TI AM335x) board support
- TI eval board support for AM437x
- Allwinner A23 SoC, very similar to existing ones which mostly has
resulted in DT changes for support. Also includes support for an
Ippo tablet with the chipset.
- Allwinner A31 Hummingbird board support, not to be confused with
the SolidRun i.MX-based Hummingboard.
- Tegra30 Apalis board support"

"This merge window brings a good size of cleanups on various platforms.
Among the bigger ones:
- Removal of Samsung s5pc100 and s5p64xx platforms. Both of these
have lacked active support for quite a while, and after asking
around nobody showed interest in keeping them around. If needed,
they could be resurrected in the future but it's more likely that
we would prefer reintroduction of them as DT and
multiplatform-enabled platforms instead.
- OMAP4 controller code register define diet. They defined a lot of
registers that were never actually used, etc.
- Move of some of the Tegra platform code (PMC, APBIO, fuse,
powergate) to drivers/soc so it can be shared with 64-bit code.
This also converts them over to traditional driver models where
possible.
- Removal of legacy gpio-samsung driver, since the last users have
been removed (moved to pinctrl)
Plus a bunch of smaller changes for various platforms that sort of
dissapear in the diffstat for the above. clps711x cleanups, shmobile
header file refactoring/moves for multiplatform friendliness, some
misc cleanups, etc"

some certain muxings, we never "disable" a mux setting
- some janitorial moving the MSM, Samsung and Nomadik and drivers to
their own subdirectories for a clearer view in the subsystem. This
will continue
- kill off the use of the return value from gpiochip_remove(), this
will be done in parallel in the GPIO subsystem and hopefully not
trigger too many unchecked return value warnings before we get rid
of this altogether
- a huge set of changes and improvements to the Allwinner sunxi
drivers especially for their latest A23 and A31 SoCs, and some
ground work for the new sun8i platform family
