Added speculatively alongside the texel-centre fix, on the theory that minification aliasing was shredding thin strokes. It was not: the seams were entirely the half-texel sampling offset, and that fix stands on its own. Mipmapping an atlas is only safe if its cells are padded, and the pack's sans font packs glyphs touching, with no separator column. Even capped at the original texel grid, the filter kernel then reaches half a source pixel into the neighbouring glyph, so every letter picked up a faint ghost of its neighbours -- visible as smudges beside the sans text that were not there before. The F500 atlases have a one-pixel gap and so were unaffected, which is what made the regression look font-specific rather than structural. Plain LINEAR, as before. Minification aliasing is a real but secondary concern, and the correct fix for it (per-cell padded mip chains) is not something we can apply to a third-party pack.
