Salman Almutairi 2c38becc4e feat(binary-layout): admit ELF32 i386, ARM and MIPS layout profiles (#7052)
* feat(binary-layout): admit ELF32 i386, ARM and MIPS layout profiles

inspect_binary_layout refused every ELF32 object, so router and IoT
firmware (ARM32, MIPS32) got no layout facts at all.

The pwntools adapter now admits EXEC/DYN/REL objects in these profiles:
ELF64 x86-64, ELF32 i386, ELF32 little-endian ARM and ELF32 little- or
big-endian MIPS. Header fields are read in the declared byte order, the
ELF32 header is bounds-checked at 52 bytes, and pwntools' own reported
architecture, class and byte order must match the admitted profile.
Other machines, classes and byte orders keep an unsupported_target
refusal that names the admitted profiles.

The output schema admits exactly those architecture combinations, and
the Evidence subject now names the reported machine instead of always
claiming x86_64.

verify:binary:layout cross-compiles i386, ARM, MIPS and MIPSel
executables and relocatable objects (never executed) and checks every
section name, address, offset and size against GNU readelf through CLI
and MCP. The real-binary-layout workflow installs those toolchains.

* ci(binary-layout): install target libc headers for ELF32 fixtures

--no-install-recommends skips the libc6-dev-*-cross packages the cross
compilers only recommend, so the i686 fixture fell back to the host's
/usr/include and failed to find bits/libc-header-start.h. Install the
four target libc development packages explicitly.

* fix(binary-layout): size the minimum symbol entry by ELF class

The relocation reference check required a 24-byte Elf64_Sym entry, so
every positive symbol reference in an ELF32 report was refused as
unreadable output. Elf32_Sym is 16 bytes; take the minimum from the
reported class. A 64-bit table with 16-byte entries is still refused.

morluto c8269ca497 fix(ci): own mock isolation and normalize Git patch directories
Convert native directory separators only at Git patch argument production. Exercise fresh, applied and invalid dependency patches in private copies, preserving protectNTFS, and select the regression for Windows CI.

Replace the spelling-based mock inventory with one binding-aware Oxlint rule. Canonical test projects own isolation for both Vitest and lint; external temporary CLI probes avoid concurrent test discovery.

Validated actual local Git and Oxlint execution, resolved-policy parity, CI selection and report tests. Native Windows verification remains with CI. Refs: #7050

morluto fbe77dc479 refactor(verification): separate readiness evidence scopes
Move the synthetic evaluator and its unchanged semantic tests out of the shipped runtime. Retain actual CLI and MCP Evidence separately from the synthetic nine-stage baseline in a versioned verifier artifact, execute its reported conformance checks, and assign the verifier to its CI lane.

Validation: evaluator/state/classifier source suites, compiled CLI/MCP views, verify:readiness, static checks, build and docs passed. Readiness observed coverage is static analysis; fixture runtime behavior and reconstruction closure were not executed.

gensokyo-dev 5d6b8a0ab6 fix(release): isolate npm publication from dependency execution (#6681)
Keep dependency execution in read-only release jobs and validate the original qualified archive with Node built-ins before publication. Refresh registry state on every publisher attempt; retain exact bytes/channel verification, v1 read-only recovery, and installed CLI/MCP checks before MCP publication.

Static/docs checks, artifact/registry/recovery tests and real package/rehearsal verification pass. All four hosted package platforms pass. Portable CI retains the independently reproduced main PTX failure in #6675 and fail-fast missing coverage; use the owner-authorized existing PR-only exception, with limitations documented in the PR. ShikamaruNaaraa 28a33cae8f fix(runtime)!: require patched Node.js security releases (#6315)
Require Node.js ^22.23.4 || ^24.22.1 || >=26.12.1 across package engines, setup/doctor and the standalone installer. Validate patch boundaries and maintain runtime-independent listener identity, heap-option and HTTP schema-binding tests.

Closes #6283

morluto e32a0494d4 fix(ci): use an available command for the Ghidra probe marker (#6400)
Check the ARM/Thumb success marker with the runner-provided grep -F. The real Ghidra probe succeeded, but the previous rg dependency made the lane exit 127.

Validated with the actual workflow shell, producer-failure and missing/incorrect marker controls, 17 focused tests, and hosted Ghidra 12.1.4 / JDK 21 compilation and ARM/Thumb context checks.

CyberSprout ee0ec027db feat(firmware): attribute hardware MMIO peripheral memory regions in native disassembly (#5348)
* feat(firmware): attribute hardware MMIO peripheral memory regions in native disassembly

- introduce hardwareMemoryMap domain model supporting standard ARM Cortex-M, RISC-V, MIPS, x86, and ARM64 physical memory region classifications (Code, SRAM, Peripheral MMIO, System Control Space, External Device)
- distinguish RAM/ROM and address-space segments from MMIO (isolate ARM External RAM / Device and MIPS kseg0/kseg1 uncached mirrors and boot ROM as non-MMIO)
- add hardwarePeripheralAttribution to map analyzed instruction references to hardware peripheral blocks and summarize peripheral register interaction profiles with numerical offset ordering
- expand ReaGhidraBridge.java decoder_context to capture ARM TMode execution register alongside MIPS ISA_MODE for native instruction inspection
- add focused unit and boundary tests across hardwareMemoryMap.test.ts, hardwarePeripheralAttribution.test.ts, GhidraFunctionValues.test.ts, and ghidraCompactReferencesMcp.test.ts verifying region bounds, MMIO isolation, numerical sorting, 32-bit/64-bit overflow rejection, ARM TMode MCP preservation, and bridge contract bindings
- make fake Ghidra installation host platform-aware on Windows in GhidraLanguageOverride.test.ts

* test(ghidra): inspect ARM and Thumb context in the Java bridge

Lewis Wang 861e17a3a7 fix(native): admit thin arm64_32 Mach-O targets for static inspection (#5788)
* fix(native): admit thin arm64_32 Mach-O targets for static inspection

Target admission mapped Mach-O CPU types only to x86, x86_64, arm and
arm64, so a thin arm64_32 object was rejected as "unsupported Mach-O
architecture" before list-architectures, inspect-macho or
inspect-signature could run, although the same slice inside a FAT file
was inventoried.

Recognize CPU_TYPE_ARM64_32 as its own Mach-O-only architecture with a
dedicated thin target variant, so ELF, PE and raw-binary paths cannot
carry it. Add its slice policy so 32-bit dispatch metadata refuses it
like other 32-bit Mach-O images instead of reporting a CPU mismatch.
Ghidra, Hopper and IDA have no verified arm64_32 lane and decline it
explicitly; Hopper's declined families now share one predicate.

* ci(apple): run the thin arm64_32 CLI regression on macOS

The regression compiles an arm64_32 object with Apple clang, so it skips
on the Ubuntu jobs. List it in the macOS Apple artifact job and its
change scope so the job runs it and changes to it select that job.

Oke Iyanuoluwa Enoch 3dde9a5e1c ci(windows): run remaining Windows-only path admission cases in the lane (#5807)
Three test files have cases that run only on Windows
(skipIf(process.platform !== "win32") / describe.runIf(win32)), but the
windows-curated job runs an explicit file list that did not name them,
so CI never executed those cases:

- src/contracts/sessionPathInputs.test.ts (Windows absolute path forms)
- tests/boundary/filesystem/directAnalysisSnapshotReplay.test.ts
(snapshot replay through a junction and before native admission)
- tests/boundary/mcp/rawBinaryMcp.test.ts (saved reads across a
junction and a noncanonical Windows path)

Add them to the lane and the package change scope, and guard the
entries in curatedWindowsLane.test.ts.

gensokyo-dev 905cbaf239 perf(ci): use tsrs and reduce PE acceptance startup (#5795)
Use pinned tsrs on supported development hosts while retaining stable official
TypeScript on Windows and unsupported platforms. Partition compile/typecheck
caches by actual compiler and qualify fallback hosts for compiler inputs and
lifecycle hooks.

Reduce PE acceptance startup through the existing bounded compiled CLI. Retain
upstream named MCP definitions, every fixture/assertion and the original 30s
deadline. Verify that browser transport loss preserves the observed target.

Validation: full qualification and real host lanes in
https://github.com/morluto/rea/actions/runs/39590450889 ; 450 focused regressions
passed with two documented conditional skips. All 1724 production emit files
match SHA-256 and size across both compilers. Current-head Codex/Greptile review
found no actionable issues. Measurements and limitations are in the PR.

morluto ea24207b57 perf(ci): pack each test tier from its own timing history (#5799)
* perf(ci): pack each test tier from its own timing history

Fast shards were still ordered with the latest full-suite timing artifact,
which stayed stale across compiled-CLI session reuse. Publish and download
test-timings-fast and test-timings-full separately, and keep the legacy
artifact as a fallback until a tier has its own history.

* perf(ci): drop the shared timing-history fallback

Shard lookup now reads only the artifact for the current tier. A missing
artifact leaves history unset instead of packing from the old test-timings
file.

* test(ci): look up fast history when only full timings exist

The empty-history case now requests the fast tier against a full-tier
artifact and checks that the fast lookup ran and returned nothing. A
missing tier stays a separate test that does not query.

morluto c0cbbf8d50 perf(ci): keep fast built shards under ten minutes (#5652)
* test(acceptance): split competing loader ownership across files

The loader matrix was one 578-second file, which set the floor for any
shard that received it. Three files keep every CLI and MCP case and let
workers overlap them.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* perf(ci): run eight fast built shards under a ten-minute budget

Charge each Vitest project by its resolved worker width so serial
process-boundary files spread as tail time. Fast feedback uses eight
built shards. The npm download cache stays; node_modules is too large
to ship as a shared artifact.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* fix(ci): keep each scheduled file on one worker lane

Dividing a file by maxWorkers dropped its own wall-time floor and could
pack a parallel file onto a serial tail. Place each file whole on a lane,
overlap peers only inside a sequence group, and add later groups after.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* docs(testing): separate the shard budget from workflow time

The ten-minute figure is the built shard job. Classification, build, and
the portable-test merge are measured separately on run 39451548945.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* docs(testing): match fast shard count to lane scheduling

Main still described five shards and half-duration weights. Fast
qualification uses eight shards, and each file keeps its full duration
on one worker.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* fix(ci): seed split loader durations from pre-split history

Timings published before the file split still name one 578-second path.
Until a new file appears in that artifact, share the recorded duration
by the pre-split case counts.

morluto 9d8e780332 ci: keep npm download caches from Turbo snapshot growth (#5655)
* ci: keep npm download caches from Turbo snapshot growth

Per-commit static and portable Turbo snapshots had filled the 10 GB Actions
cache, which is what makes warm npm ci cheap. Trusted static runs now keep two
generations and one download-cache writer per host.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* fix(ci): declare cache retention types for strict checks

Typecheck imports cache-retention.mjs and needs a sibling declaration.
The generation count stays module-private so knip does not report it.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* fix(ci): keep compatible caches and qualification read-only

Npm dedupe deletes a record only when another has the same key, version,
and ref. Cache deletion moves to a follow-up workflow so reusable
qualification can keep its read-only token.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* fix(ci): retain caches after failed default-branch runs

Static and build save Turbo snapshots before later lanes finish. Retention
now follows a failed, timed-out, or cancelled trusted run, not only a green one.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* test(cli): pass application trace input as a file

The CLI already reads workflow JSON from a path. Putting the full
application Evidence document on argv exceeds the runner argument limit.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* fix(ci): retain deep and Knip snapshots without deleting a repeated id

Fast and deep static checks publish rea-static-deep-v1 and knip-meta-v1
entries per commit. Retention prunes those families with the same two-generation
rule. A cache id listed twice is one record; inconsistent repeats abort
before any delete.

morluto 0add6a5aae ci: split fast and deep static checks (#5634)
* ci: split fast and deep static checks

Fast PRs run typecheck, lint, and format before provider admission.
Knip, duplication, architecture guards, and Python stay on the full tier.
Shared-boundary fallbacks keep the Linux x64 baseline, and Turbo jobs
export remote-cache credentials when they are configured.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* ci: keep pull requests from writing the remote cache

Trusted default-branch runs still receive TURBO_TOKEN. Pull requests get an
empty token and remote read-only mode. Knip saves a per-commit cache key so
the next trusted full run can refresh the restored snapshot.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* ci: forward the release cache token and upload deep static reports

Release qualification now passes TURBO_TOKEN into the called workflow.
Labeled pull requests still do not. The deep static job records its task
context and uploads duplication reports after a failed gate.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* style: format the turbo cache policy test

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* ci: keep fast checks exclusive and trusted cache writes explicit

Declare the static artifact name and context script so typecheck matches the
implementations. Lock check:ci:fast around dist, and publish the remote cache
only for release qualification or default-branch push, schedule, and dispatch.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* ci: record static task graphs without nesting the artifacts lock

Keep check:ci:fast locked, and point graph recording at the unlocked
check:ci:fast:tasks script so check:pr and check:test can record hashes
while they already hold that lock.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* ci: keep unauthenticated Turbo runs on the local cache

Open pull requests do not receive TURBO_TOKEN, so a remote read mode cannot
authenticate. Those runs now use the local cache. Trusted runs still publish.

Co-authored-by: morluto <morluto@users.noreply.github.com>

* test(ida): treat unchanged invalid requests as nonretryable

Main already stopped marking invalid_request retryable. The pull request
merge runs that projector, while the IDA lookup tests still expected
retryable true. Match the merged behavior.

Edgar Arakelyan 7a0c47bfa4 feat(environment): export an environment manifest as an agent environment bundle (#4999)
Export an authenticated capture and environment manifest as a pinned agentenv bundle with provenance, a replay verifier and smoke task.

Followups preserve immutable input ownership, bounded discovery, caller paths and numeric values; bind bundle writes and package copying to retained filesystem owners; verify POSIX modes; retain cleanup authority; and verify framework/npm executable selection. Default MCP remains stdio.

Validation: pinned Linux toolchain, typecheck/build/lint/format/docs/knip, 452 focused tests, ten product-catalog cases, real GitHub response replay in the generated non-root Docker image, and the real pinned agentenv framework smoke workflow. Platform and resource-measurement limits are recorded in the feature verification document.

morluto 5bf4fffc1b fix(pwndbg): prevent core-triggered executable discovery
Occupy GDB's executable slot with its owned /proc/self/exe while loading a
core, then discard it before mapping queries. Select the validated decoder
architecture explicitly and restrict build-ID lookup to the owned empty path.
Preserve cancellation reasons at debugger admission.

Keep the original fixture executable present during syscall verification and
add Debian 13 / GDB 16 coverage alongside Ubuntu 24.04 in the CI definition.

Validation: controlled producer regressions and request-profile controls;
real GDB 16.3 / strace on Linux arm64 shows the old bridge opening the
recorded executable and the fix returning the same mapping without that
access. A cross-architecture gdb-multiarch probe confirms profile selection.
The plugin was controlled; full native pwndbg and Linux x64 remain unverified.
No performance improvement claimed; task tokens/CPU/family memory unmeasured.

Ysopwnable 0f623732bd fix(ci): require portable inventory reports on selected runs (#3549)
Run complete portable-inventory validation whenever code tests are selected and the job is not cancelled. Missing timing reports now fail rather than bypassing the existing validator. Preserve partial diagnostics and successful-history ownership.

Verified the baseline regression, missing/present report and cancellation/selection controls, actual Vitest blob/report failure paths, static checks, actionlint and test discovery.

* fix(ci): skip portable report merge when shards are skipped

The portable consumer can still run after an upstream build failure, even though the test-shard matrix is skipped and no Vitest blob artifacts exist. This applies the report-consumer condition from ee0256c740 to current pinned main without changing action pins or required gates.
