Homemade BBQ Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients and stir well.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sauce begins to simmer.
- Reduce the heat to low and continue to simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and the flavors meld together.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using.
You can store any leftover BBQ sauce in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Enjoy!
