Glazed Lemon Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
- Adobo seasoning
- Salt and pepper
- Soy sauce
- Oil for frying
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon starch
Instructions
- Season the chicken breast cubes with adobo, salt, pepper, and soy sauce.
- Heat some oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken until slightly browned.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the lemon juice, thinly sliced lemon peel, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, honey, and starch to make the sauce.
- Remove the chicken from the frying pan and set aside.
- Clean off the excess oil from the frying pan, then add the sauce to the pan.
- Bring the sauce to a boil and let it simmer for a few minutes until it thickens.
- Add the chicken back into the pan and cook it with the sauce for a minute or two, until the chicken is fully cooked and coated in the sauce.
- Serve hot with your favorite sides.
