# G1 -- Two oracles; guess neither

The disassembler database is the static oracle and the emulator is the runtime oracle. Every claim about code behaviour, an
|
|
address, a calling convention or a data layout is validated against one of them — never speculated from general knowledge
|
|
of the hardware or the game. The two answer different questions: the database gives shape, the running game gives meaning.
