# G42 -- Periodic whole-fleet verification; the baseline before the verdict
A byte gate is silent about every binary it did not build, so the whole fleet is rebuilt clean on a schedule and after every
propagating gate. A gate verdict measures the draft only while that binary's baseline is green; the baseline is checked
first and billed separately.
provenance: BFM R50 + R56; two binaries red for hours behind a green gate
