# G43 -- Carve state belongs to its binary

The split configuration and the per-binary make fragments are carve STATE: a gate commit carries only its own binary's
|
|
lines; a blanket commit of another lane's mid-gate tree is a race, not a backup; any blanket restore is followed by the
|
|
interleave and pad audits on every touched binary.
