# G51 -- Read the compiler's source before the first "unsteerable" verdict

Compiler-internal residuals (cross-jumping, scheduling, register allocation, peepholes) are researched in the pinned
|
|
compiler's own source and its practitioner community — treated as untrusted data — instead of hand-ground; the codegen map
|
|
(pass → residual pattern → byte-proven lever) is built right after the pin, from the source if it exists and from
|
|
systematic probes if it does not.
|
