Pull tracing fix from Steven Rostedt:
"ARM has system calls outside the NR_syscalls range, and the generic
tracing system does not support that and without checks, it can cause
an oops to be reported.
Rabin Vincent added checks in the return code on syscall events to
make sure that the system call number is within the range that tracing
knows about, and if not, simply ignores the system call.
The system call tracing infrastructure needs to be rewritten to handle
these cases better, but for now, to keep from oopsing, this patch will
do"

For Renesas USB 3.0 host controller, when unplugging the usb hub which
has the RTL8153 plugged, the driver would get -EPROTO for interrupt
transfer. There is high probability to get the information of "HC died;
cleaning up", if the driver continues to submit the interrupt transfer
before the disconnect() is called.

H5 Specification says:
If a SYNC message is received while in the Active State, it is
assumed that the peer device has reset. The local device should
therefore perform a full reset of the upper stack, and start Link
Establishment again at the Uninitialized State. Upon entering the
Active State, the first packet sent shall have its SEQ and ACK
numbers set to zero.
This patch resets the HCI H5 driver data/state to unitialized and
reports an HCI hardware error event to notify the upper stack that
HCI synchronization has been lost. H5 will be re-synchronized and
upper stack should generate an HCI Reset command.

Add a driver for the Goodix touchscreen panel found in Onda v975w tablets.
The driver is based off the Android driver gt9xx.c found in some Android
code dumps, but now bears no resemblance to the original driver.
The driver was tested on the aforementioned tablet.

It turns out that the assertion about scope of regressions due to
always keeping keyboard controller in legacy mode was proven wrong.
There are laptops, such as Clevo W650SH, that only have internal
touchpad (no external PS/2 ports), that require active multiplexing
mode to switch the touchpad (Elantech) into native mode instead of
basic PS/2 emulation.

In altera_ps2_close, the data register (offset 0) is written instead of
the control register (offset 4), leading to the RX interrupt not being
disabled. Fix this by calling writel() with the offset for the proper
register.

Expression haptic->pwm_dev->period * haptic->magnitude is of type
'unsigned int' and may overflow. We need to convert one of the operands
to u64 before multiplying, instead of casting result (potentially
overflown) to u64.

The following patchset contains fixes for netfilter/ipvs. This round of
fixes is larger than usual at this stage, specifically because of the
nf_tables bridge reject fixes that I would like to see in 3.18. The
patches are:
1) Fix a null-pointer dereference that may occur when logging
errors. This problem was introduced by 4a4739d56b ("ipvs: Pull
out crosses_local_route_boundary logic") in v3.17-rc5.
2) Update hook mask in nft_reject_bridge so we can also filter out
packets from there. This fixes 36d2af5 ("netfilter: nf_tables: allow
to filter from prerouting and postrouting"), which needs this chunk
to work.
3) Two patches to refactor common code to forge the IPv4 and IPv6
reject packets from the bridge. These are required by the nf_tables
reject bridge fix.
4) Fix nft_reject_bridge by avoiding the use of the IP stack to reject
packets from the bridge. The idea is to forge the reject packets and
inject them to the original port via br_deliver() which is now
exported for that purpose.
5) Restrict nft_reject_bridge to bridge prerouting and input hooks.
the original skbuff may cloned after prerouting when the bridge stack
needs to flood it to several bridge ports, it is too late to reject
the traffic.

The file /sys/kernel/debug/tracing/eneabled_functions is used to debug
ftrace function hooks. Add to the output what function is being called
by the trampoline if the arch supports it.
Add support for this feature in x86_64.

The current method of handling multiple function callbacks is to register
a list function callback that calls all the other callbacks based on
their hash tables and compare it to the function that the callback was
called on. But this is very inefficient.
For example, if you are tracing all functions in the kernel and then
add a kprobe to a function such that the kprobe uses ftrace, the
mcount trampoline will switch from calling the function trace callback
to calling the list callback that will iterate over all registered
ftrace_ops (in this case, the function tracer and the kprobes callback).
That means for every function being traced it checks the hash of the
ftrace_ops for function tracing and kprobes, even though the kprobes
is only set at a single function. The kprobes ftrace_ops is checked
for every function being traced!
Instead of calling the list function for functions that are only being
traced by a single callback, we can call a dynamically allocated
trampoline that calls the callback directly. The function graph tracer
already uses a direct call trampoline when it is being traced by itself
but it is not dynamically allocated. It's trampoline is static in the
kernel core. The infrastructure that called the function graph trampoline
can also be used to call a dynamically allocated one.
For now, only ftrace_ops that are not dynamically allocated can have
a trampoline. That is, users such as function tracer or stack tracer.
kprobes and perf allocate their ftrace_ops, and until there's a safe
way to free the trampoline, it can not be used. The dynamically allocated
ftrace_ops may, although, use the trampoline if the kernel is not
compiled with CONFIG_PREEMPT. But that will come later.

Priority of a merged request is computed by ioprio_best(). If one of the
requests has undefined priority (IOPRIO_CLASS_NONE) and another request
has priority from IOPRIO_CLASS_BE, the function will return the
undefined priority which is wrong. Fix the function to properly return
priority of a request with the defined priority.

The function snd_pcm_action_lock_irq() can be much simplified by
simply wrapping snd_pcm_action() with the stream lock. This was
rather the original idea, but later it was open coded for
optimization. However, looking at the optimization part closely, one
notices that the probability of the optimized path is quite low; in
normal situations, the linked stream action happens only for the
triggered substream, thus the operation becomes identical. So the
code simplification has a clear win, especially because we have now
doubly codes for both atomic and non-atomic locks.

Most code avoids having a default case in interface type switch
statements already, to make it easier to find places that need
to be extended. Change the code in the __cfg80211_leave() and
nl80211_key_allowed() functions to not have a default case.
