The commitfe80536acf("bareudp: Added attribute to enable & disable rx metadata collection") breaks the the original(5.7) default behavior of bareudp module to collect RX metadadata at the receive. It was added to avoid the crash at the kernel neighbour subsytem when packet with metadata from bareudp is processed. But it is no more needed as the commit394de110a7("net: Added pointer check for dst->ops->neigh_lookup in dst_neigh_lookup_skb") solves this crash. ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
