Video decoder driver auto-suspends the hardware if there is no exchange of command or response for certain amount of time. In auto suspended state, it becomes mandatory to power on the hardware before requesting it to process a command. The fix ensures the hardware is powered on during stop streaming. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
