Because after an object is dropped, requests for that object are useless, cancel them to avoid causing other problems. This prepares for the later addition of cancel_work_sync(). After the reopen requests is generated, cancel it to avoid cancel_work_sync() blocking by waiting for daemon to complete the reopen requests. ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
