To get the changes in these csets:2a6c6b7d7a("perf/core: Add PERF_SAMPLE_WEIGHT_STRUCT")61b985e3e7("perf/x86/intel: Add perf core PMU support for Sapphire Rapids") This cures the following warning during perf's build: Warning: Kernel ABI header at 'tools/include/uapi/linux/perf_event.h' differs from latest version at 'include/uapi/linux/perf_event.h' diff -u tools/include/uapi/linux/perf_event.h include/uapi/linux/perf_event.h Committer notes: Picked by hand as I had already merged the MMAP buildid patch that also touches perf_event.h and is also only in {acme,tip}/perf/core, not yet upstream. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
