While amd-pstate driver was loaded with specific driver mode, it will need to check which mode is enabled for the pstate driver,add this sysfs entry to show the current status $ cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/amd-pstate/status active Meanwhile, user can switch the pstate driver mode with writing mode string to sysfs entry as below. ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
